28/M been working my fingers to the bone since I was 15. Been working for the same company over a decade . Own a nice new truck outright , bought a house at the end of last year . Climbed to the top of the ladder at the company I work for and I am watching my motivation and drive at work decay by the day . Everyday I read these price predictions of 200k-1M a coin and drool over the idea of retiring at or below 30 years old and being able to enjoy life without having to go to a 9-5 everyday . Seeing wealthy people actually enjoy life everyday is heart breaking . I would probably still do some form of work but man would it be so nice to do something I enjoy doing even if I make less …

The last days I’ve been strolling around different sites to test what conditions I might get for a loan.
I feel like I would love to own more bitcoin now because my gut tells me the next time it explodes I’m gonna pinch myself for not investing more when the time was right.
When it was at 16.000 I simply couldn’t get more money and almost went broke, but I knew it would pay off. And it did.
Now I have the same gut feeling again? I know DCA for most is the right way but for me I like to take risks sometime.
Would you take up a loan for bitcoin?

The article is about a guy who believes all other asset classes will feed into Bitcoin, and he metions even art and classic cars. I think it’s the article where the worlds assets class infographic 1st came from but I’m not 100%

Safe to say I’m definitely holding. I did something really stupid and invested a lot at the previous pretty much peak.
About $2900+- Now at $2234
I’ve started researching after buying but I feel really confident that I will get my investment back and more.
But I’m still investing some every month or week. And I’m optimistic that the price will keep going up.

This is probably completely irrelevant, but I noticed that my mom when she went and got her gnomes for St. Patrick’s Day from storage it literally looks like a plastic version of a bitcoin is stitched onto this gnome. I can see the logic of Bitcoin being a supply of wealth like gold is, but why do we expect Bitcoin to keep going to up when gold lags behind stocks typically?
Versus fiat, I can see the logic sure, but if it ends up just being a store of wealth then surely growth becomes much more modest and comparable to other commodities, no?

I see this everywhere making headlines and being talked about around Reddit. “Big whale” making a now $520m short bet.
Is this not a $13m bet leveraged up to $520m? I mean, $13m is a pretty large bet, but I don’t see why this is such huge news. It’s not uncommon to see this size liquidation on the books.
